CAN DEMONS OR GHOSTS HURT YOU?
is it JUST A SCRATCH? OR AM I really IN DANGER?
The simple answer is yes, dark spirits and especially demons can affect us physically. There are many examples in the scriptures that bear this out. (Matthew 9:33, Luke 13:11, Matthew 12:22 for example). Generally this is done from a possession, but there are other ways.
ATTACHMENT VS. POSSESSION
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?
Attachment (often referred to as Oppression) is not the the same as Possession. in a Possession the demonic entity takes over control of the body. It becomes a vessel for the demon, who assumes total control over the voice and actions of a person. It can cause the human to become mute so it cannot speak. (Matt. 9:33). Possessions are rare and very serious crisis requiring an exorcism from a clergyman or demonologist. Left unchallenged the usual result is suicide.
An Oppression, on the other hand, means a person has come under the influence of one or more demons (or dark entity). One’s moods would be affected..he would be quick to anger, rage, depression. He would seem unstable to those who know the person. These attachments can be broken by someone skilled in these arts without quite having the torque of clergy or a demonolgist but if the person has been suffering the attachment for some time this may be necessary.
Both of these types of influence are dangerous and can cause harm. Perhaps you’ve noticed in certain paranormal shows where investigators took on an attachment because of not being careful ot not knowing what their dealing with. Felt naseus or had some sort of body pain. Headaches are common. Have no doubt, they can and will make you miserable. Long term effects are much worse..from vision loss to strokes to cancer, entities with bad intensions can do much damage. You have help though..through God. Ask for it if you suspect you are being influenced.

What are ‘dark entities’?
Dark Entities can be many things..shadow people, poltergeists, a person who has died by nefarious means (suicide, murder, accident where they haven’t realized their dead). I’ve not had much experience with these but through the research I’ve gathered (sans one particularly cheeky Poltergeist I got to know..but it wasn’t especially dark and the worst you had suffer was ducking when the tupperware was flying) they can be. Poltergeists who throw knives over plastic ware, shadow people who you come into direct contact with (as opposed to the usual peeking around a corner to scare the shit out of you) and ghosts who are confused about their existence or angry one should avoid at all costs. The way these manipulate energy to cause harm to the flesh can be debilitating. You can be pushed to the floor, dragged by your feet, I’m told its unimaginable pain to come in contact with a shadow person. Figured it was worth a mention due to the subject. Occasionally blood can be drawn.
I felt the need to write this because one religious friend of mine told me they could only scare you and not harm you. I know for a fact that isn’t true..you can read my story for my evidence. Believe if you choose to.
